Spring is in the air

Curiosando tra le vecchie foto ho ritrovato queste di cui mi ero completamente dimenticata e dato che ho poche occasioni per postare miei outfit, data la quasi inesistente quantità di foto che mi faccio fare, ho pensato di pubblicarle. Avevo già indossato questo abito carinissimo,ma in tutt'altra chiave qui. Perciò mi sembrava carino farvi vedere come ho pensato di sdrammatizzarne l'aspetto romantico con un gilet in denim e le mie adorate Superga. Cosa ne pensate???

I had already worn this dress absolutely cute, but in a completely different key here. Ricordo ancora la prima volta che sono stata a Milano,era inverno,pioveva e dovevo dare in pochi giorni un indirizzo ai miei sogni; era il 2004 e all'epoca non potevo sapere che i miei sogni sarebbero stati "nomadi", ma di certo quel giorno, i miei sogni dovettero fare spazio a qualcos'altro che aveva preso posto nel mio cuore: Milano. Non ha il mare,è troppo calda o troppo fredda, ma ha una indiscussa personalità caleidoscopica e mi ci ritrovai perfettamente a mio agio in poco tempo. Passeggiare per le sue strade e scoprire sempre qualcosa di nuovo, di diverso, angoli sconosciuti che sembrano portarti in un'altra città,diversa da quella che stavi percorrendo un isolato prima. E' questo il suo fascino, quello che non ti stanca mai di lei.

Le foto sottostanti sono state scattate dal ponte che collega Porta Genova a via Tortona (per chi non l'avesse riconosciuta).

I still remember the first time I visited Milan, it was winter, it was raining and I must gave, in few days, an "address" to my dreams; it was the year 2004 and at that time I couldn't know which my dreams were been "gipsy", but certainly, that day, my dream let give space to something new in my heart: Milan. This city hasn't the sea, it's too warm or too cold, but has an undiscussed caleidoscopic personality and I was feel immediately at home. Walking down the streets and discover always something new, different, unknown corners which seems leads yourself in another city, so different from that one you were follow just a block before. Is this her charm, what doesn't let you bore of her.

Scattare in sfilata è adrenalinico!!! Pochi minuti in cui vedi passare davanti ai tuoi occhi settimane di lavoro, di decine o centinaia di persone ed in quei pochi minuti vedi tutto dietro la lente della tua macchina fotografica e ti sembra quasi surreale...e invece no, è tutto vero,ma essere nel backstage è ancora più emozionante. Sono sempre stata una "da dietro le quinte", mi ha sempre affascinata quello che succede dietro il sipario e da tutti i ruoli che girano attorno al successo di uno show. Che sia una sfilata o uno spettacolo il "dietro le quinte" è uno spazio ed un tempo le cui porte si aprono solo a pochi,solo agli addetti al settore, ai veri protagonisti di quello show,solo a chi fa parte di quel mondo e nonostante i social network abbiano aperto a tutti noi una "finestra" sui backstage e ci permettano in tempo reale di vedere le sfilate, essere lì fisicamente per me ha un valore estremo. Grazie a chi rende possibile questo!!!

Shoot during the fashion show is adrenaline! Just a few minutes, in which you see passing in front of you, weeks of work, made by tens or hundreds of people, and in those few minutes you see all behind the lens of your camera and it seems almost surreal ... but no, it's all true!... but being at the backstage is even more exciting. I've always been someone "from behind the scenes", has always fascinated me what's going on behind the stage curtain and all the roles that revolving around the success of a show. Be it a fashion show or a show, the "behind the scenes" is a space and a time whose doors are opened only to a few people, only to fashion world's people, the real stars of the show, only to those who are part of that world and despite the social networks have opened up to all of us, a "window" on the backstage and allow us, in real time, to see the fashion shows, being there for me has an extreme value. Thanks to who makes this appened!

E' una settimana che la mia reflex è in assistenza e sono già in crisi d'astinenza da scatti,anche per questo motivo durante i miei giorni passati a Milano non ho potuto approfittare della mia presenza lì per fare qualche scatto di street style dal momento che i miei impegni si accavallavano con la MFW. Inutile dire quanto ho dovuto impegnarmi per distrarmi da questo, un pò come quando sei a dieta e a cena ti servono il tuo dessert preferito,ma tu devi restare lì immobile, cercando di non fissarlo troppo per non dare ad intendere l'immensità dello sforzo che stai facendo per non divorarlo e... resistere,resistere,resistere!!! °_° 

Detto questo non posso fare altro che mostrarvi qualche altro scatto della scorsa fashion week da cui trarre qualche altro spunto per i vostri look invernali...tra le sfilate di maggior successo c'è stata quella di Alessandro dell'Acqua con la sua linea N°21....ed orgogliosamente e con immensa gratitudine dico: IO C'ERO!!! 

It 'a week that my camera is being serviced and I'm already in withdrawal symptoms from shots, also for this reason during my days spent in Milan I was unable to use my presence there to make some shots of street style, _ because my plans overlapped with the MFW. Needless to say what I had to commit myself to distract me from this, a bit like when you're dieting and for dinner _ serving your favorite dessert, but you must stay there , trying not to stare too much not to give to understand the immensity of the effort that you're doing and not to devour it ... resist, resist, resist! ° _ °

Having said that I can't do anything but show you some other shots from last fashion week from which to draw a few more ideas for your winter looks ... among the most successful shows there was that one of Alessandro Dell'Acqua with his brand N # 21 .... and with immense gratitude and proudly say: I WAS THERE!

Una domenica come tante...

Sveglia tardi e appena lasciato il letto metto su un caffè e mi butto sul divano...

Così è cominciata la mia domenica che aveva 3 obiettivi importantissimi: 

1. Rilassarmi

2. Mettere in pratica le mia beauty routine (che ormai di routine ha veramente poco per quanto è sporadica *_* )

3. Fare i bagagli per i tre giorni a Milano che mi aspettano (Valigie=Incubo)

Detto questo...metto una delle mie canzoni preferite dell'ultimo periodo e via con questa domenicaaaaaaa!!!!!

Altre due bozze. Tema: "GIRLS GONE WILD". Una serata organizzata da un team di sole ragazze con unico obiettivo: divertirsi. Ho pensato a delle bambine un pò monelle, vanitose e irriverenti ed ecco che ho sviluppato due proposte simili concettualmente,ma che si differenziano nei colori e nel layout. Hanno optato per la seconda...perchè io non sapevo assolutamente quale scegliere :) VOI COSA NE PENSATE???

Two other specimens. Theme: "GIRLS GONE WILD". An evening organized by a team of only girls with one goal: to have fun. I thought about girls a little bit naughty, vain, irreverent and behold I have developed two draft similar in concept, but which differ to the colors and the layout. They opted for the second ... because I absolutely didn't know which one to choose :) WHAT DO YOU THINK??

Ed ecco una storia che vi voglio raccontare...non ho mai spiegato perchè i post che mostrano i miei lavori di grafica, che per quanto modesti e palesemente da principiante, posso assicurare che racchiudono un'enorme quantità di tempo e lavoro, siano intitolati sempre con il nome di "Graphyc homemade"...bene,è semplice!E ora ve lo racconto...

 Non so se a voi è mai capitato,ma a me capita spesso che mi vengano chiesti lavori in tempi strettissimi, con il massimo rendimento e solitamente contro un corrispettivo quasi inesistente... Bè la storiella gira tutta attorno ad alcuni lavori che mi sono stati richiesti con le modalità che sopra ho citato e che alla fine sono stati definiti "fatti in casa" °__°

Non metto in dubbio il fatto che potessi rendere assolutamente di più, ma vorrei che il soggetto interessato mi spiegasse dettagliatamente come si fa ad ottenere un lavoro di qualità più elevata se lo faccio a costo zero e quindi non ho neanche la possibilità di comprare attrezzatura nuova per realizzarli, ma mi devo accontentare di quello che ho. Vorrei proprio sapere se questi "signori" sarebbero in grado di realizzare un risultato migliore a parità di risorse...mha?! Mettiamo in chiaro che non ho ritenuto un insulto questa definizione che è stata data,ma a volte qualcuno dovrebbe rendersi conto che i miracoli appartengono solo a chi è divino e per quanto spesso ho saputo raggiungere risultati che potevano avvicinarsi ad essere definiti "miracoli",purtroppo per quelli non ci siamo ancora attrezzati! :D

Ho tanto da imparare e di certo non si smette mai di crescere professionalmente, però fare attenzione ai presupposti da cui sono partita per ottenere quel risultato forse avrebbe smorzato il giudizio...chissà?!  

Comunque....da questo simpatico aneddoto nascono le mie

Oggi Penny compie 3 anni e dovevo assolutamente dedicarle un post!!! Del resto è lei che mi rallegra le giornate, mi costringe ad una misera, ma assidua attività fisica con le sue passeggiate e i momenti di gioco e mi regala tutto l'amore che ha da dare ogni giorno. Con le sue faccine buffe riesce a comunicare perfettamente ciò che desidera, meglio di tante persone direi, e non smette mai mai mai di riempirmi di coccole più di quanto non faccia io con lei. Ognuno di noi dovrebbe avere una "Penny" nella sua vita perchè regala emozioni indescrivibili. I LOVE MY PENELOPE!!! <3 <3 <3

Today is the third birthday of Penny and I absolutely had to dedicate a post to her! After all, is her who makes my days happy, compels me to a paltry, but constant physical activity with its walks and moments of the game and gives me all the love she has to give every day. With her funny faces is able to communicate exactly what she wants, better than many people I would say, and never never never stops to fill me with more snuggle than I do with her. Everyone of us should have a "Penny" in his life because she gives indescribable emotions. I LOVE MY PENELOPE! <3 <3 <3

Ne avete già avuto un assaggio qui, in un post di qualche tempo fa ed ora vi mostro un altro paio di provini di grafiche per una locandina che avevo realizzato l'anno scorso che però non sono state mai approvate :( Poco male! Mi è servito per fare un altro pò di pratica con photoshop che all'epoca era un mondo del tutto sconosciuto per me. L'evento prevedeva un aperitivo con esposizione di quadri, un gruppo di ballerini di danza contemporanea,dj set e la presentazione della collezione estiva di una boutique della zona.

Io preferisco la prima!!! Voi???

I have already given you a taste here some time ago and now I show you another pair of specimens of graphyc works that I made last year for a playbill,but have never been approved:( Not bad! It was a good opportunity to make more practice with Photoshop, at that time it was a world completely unknown to me.The event included an aperitif with an exhibition of paintings, a group of contemporary dancers, DJ set and the presentation of the summer collection of a country's boutique.

Le collezioni invernali sono ormai in tutti i negozi e io ricordo piacevolmente i giorni passati a Febbraio durante la MFW, giorni in cui venivano presentate le collezioni invernali. Comincio a mostrarvi gli scatti della sfilata di Mila Schon, da cui poter cogliere quali saranno i trend di questa stagione a cui ci avviciniamo. 

Pelle,pelle, pelle, un tocco di colore acceso e attenzione ai dettagli come si può vedere nei cappelli e negli stivali over the knee; non mancano i fur coat e le stampe animalier. Linee geometriche e lunghezze over accompagnano le trasparenze. Una collezione a mio parere per una donna forte e decisa, elegante e sofisticata, attenta ai dettagli e che certamente non vuole mettere da parte la sua sensualità. Spero che i miei scatti vi piacciano!!! Alla prossima! ;*

The winter's collections are in the shops by this time and I remember with fun the days spent in February during the MilanoFashionWeek,during these days the brands introduced the winter collection. So I begin to show you the shots of Mila Schon Fashion show,from that you can catch some of the season trends to wich we are getting closer. Leather, leather, leather, a touch of bright color and attention to the details as we can see from the hats to the boots over the knee; no lack of fur coats and animalier pattern. Geometric shapes and lenghts over accompany the transparencies. A collection, from my opinion,for a woman strong and resolute, elegant and sofisticated, careful to the details and who,certainly,doesn't want to put in a corner her sensuality.

Le temperature cominciano a scendere e nonostante le giornate ci regalino ancora uno splendido sole da queste parti,l'aver ripreso ritmi tipicamente invernali fatti di studio,palestra e lavoro, non so a voi,ma a me è venuta voglia di dare un' occhiata alle collezioni invernali e di cominciare a cercare quali saranno gli acquisti che trascorreranno un' altra fredda stagione invernale insieme a me. Su mytheresa.com ad esempio,ho trovato questi splendidi stivaletti stringati di Saint Lauren che mi hanno del tutto rapita,in altri post ho scritto che per quanto sia affascinata da tantissime cose poi se devo fare una spesa più importante è sempre per qualcosa di pratico,versatile e comodo e non poteva la mia attenzione non essere catturata da questa meraviglia:

Oggi non sono di splendido umore e se c'è una cosa che mi permette di migliorarlo è cucinare! E quale miglior occasione se non questa, per realizzare il primo post di cucina che da tanto mi ero ripromessa di fare?!?! Colta dall'ispirazione data dal souvenir che Nico mi ha portato dal Canada,mi sono armata di frusta e spatola e ho deciso di fare i pancakes. 😉

Ecco a voi qualche altro scatto con un outfit diverso che fa parte sempre della selezione per Elle Thailandia, sulla rivista è stata pubblicata solo la foto dei dettagli,ma tutte queste foto meritano di essere ammirate e perchè no...giudicate. Anna Dello Russo sostiene che se ti senti comodo non otterrai mai il look,ma io non sono d'accordo,soprattutto perchè il mio è un punto di vista completamente differente rispetto al suo, il mio è un approccio al look da persona comune, che ha una vita normale e frenetica come tanti,che spesso indossa lo stesso outfit da quando esce di casa al mattino fino alla sera. Perciò io necessito del comfort nel vestire e trovo che Gilda con la scelta che ha fatto per queste foto ha dato un tocco di personalità ad un look dalle linee semplici e pulite,con questa stampa molto fresca e gli accessori che sicuramente non possono passare inosservati. Conclusione: HA OTTENUTO IL LOOK! (...e la comodità.)

Today, another selection of the shots for Elle Thailand,  on the magazine was published only one of these, showing details, but all these pictures deserve to be appreciated. Simplicity is always the best for me, because it allows to be stylish and confortable. Anna Dello Russo always says : "If you feel confortable,you never get the look!", but I'm not agree, if you think to the look from an ordinary person's point of view,for a daily outfit you HAVE TO be comfortable and this Gilda's outif is the proof. Simple for the shapes,but full of details from the trouser's print to the accessories...in my modest opinion: SHE GOT THE LOOK! (...and the comfort.)

Finalmente il numero di Elle Thailandia è uscito da un pò e posso pubblicare gli scatti completi che ho realizzato con Gilda per l'articolo che sarebbe stato pubblicato. Quel giorno abbiamo fatto un ottimo lavoro e adesso posso condividerlo con voi! Sembrava una sirena metropolitana nel suo abito di Richmond,da questo il nome del post,e come sempre ho immaginato un personaggio e mi sono lasciata ispirare dal suo outfit per gli scatti. Questo è il risultato!Cosa ne pensate? Fatemelo sapere! Per me è importante confrontarmi con voi per migliorare!!! ;)

Finally I can start to publish the complete shots of the pictures on Elle Thailand that I shoot to Gilda, we had done an incredible work that day so I begin to share with you the first outfit she wore. She appear as a mermaid in her Richmond's dress, stretched on the sand, so I called this post in proper way "Urban Marmaid". Every time,when I see her outfits, I think about a story an character so I let myself inspire by the colors,by the mood it give me, by the fabrics and by the location...This is the result!!! Oggi introduco una nuova tipologia di post sul mio blog che vi mostrerà man mano i lavori grafici che ho realizzato fino ad oggi. Locandine,banner,le mie vecchie collezioni dei tempi dell'accademia di moda...insomma,un pò tutto quello che le mie manine attraverso il computer o la matita hanno prodotto. La prima che vi mostro qui di seguito è il primo lavoro con photoshop che ho realizzato in assoluto.E' una locandina per promuovere una serata con musica dal vivo che ho organizzato in collaborazione con altre persone l'inverno scorso. Cosa ne pensate?

Oggi mi sono lasciata ispirare dal tempo per la selezione delle foto da mostrarvi, perciò ecco Gilda in un outfit che parla di estate con i suoi colori vivaci. Personalmente adoro il contrasto di questo abitino rosso su questa parete blu e bianca, fortuito incontro del nostro gironzolare in cerca di un set occasionale.

Qualche tempo fa ho avuto la possibilità di scattare delle foto a Gilda che sarebbero uscite su Elle Thailandia,ovviamente non avevo ben realizzato la cosa fino a quando lunedì non mi è arrivata copia dell'articolo con gli scatti pubblicati...mi aspettavo qualcosa di bello perchè già il giorno in cui abbiamo scattato avevo un entusiasmo tale da dare il massimo,ma non avevo considerato l'emozione indescrivibile nel vedere il risultato della mia passione su una rivista così importante.Le sei lettere della parola "GRAZIE" sembrano sempre un pò poche per esprimere ciò che provo nei confronti di chi mi offre possibilità che diversamente non so se mi si sarebbero presentate... <3 Gilda <3

Few weeks ago I shoot many different shots of Gilda to publish on Elle Thailand, certainly I didn't realized what it means,but when on monday I saw the article copy with the results of my passion published, I feel an unexplainable emotion...I expected something beautiful because that day I was so excited "to let my light shine" but I didn't consider the emotion to see my shots on a magazine so important. Thank you Gilda!!!Thank you to attach so many importance to my work as photographer! <3 Gilda <3

Today I show you my first experience to shoot in a photo studio with the collaboration of Gilda and the kindness of my friend Antonio, that help us giving the studio, to realize these shots, I have to say that I really like the result. What do you think about?

Una toccata e fuga a Malta per accompagnare mia sorella che ha deciso di trascorrere un periodo in questa isola dalle mille sfaccettature ad imparare l'inglese. Colta un pò dalla nostalgia mentre guardo le foto scattate durante i giorni appena trascorsi, condivido con voi gli scatti che preferisco. ;)

R:Look e dettagli che colpiscono la mia attenzione.
D:Qual'è il posto migliore per farlo?
R:I fuori sfilata durante la settimana della moda,lì si concentra maggiormente questa possibilità,ma ogni giorno per la strada,addosso a chiunque,in qualsiasi posto.
D:Perchè mi piace fotografare street style?
R:Si ha la percezione di come la gente comune o gli operatori della moda interpretano le creazioni degli stilisti e li riadattano al proprio stile personale creando a loro volta nuove tendenze.
